Copy of thermometer interface

The AD590 is a temperature sensor that produces a current that is proportional to the Kelvin temperature. The specs and interface circuit are in the op-amp linear text on page 139, section 5-11.1. The op amp converts the current to a voltage. The application is to alert the operator of a greenhouse when the temperature is too low or too high.. A warning LED will suffice to indicate (be lit) when either of these two conditions occur.
